About Flipper.
What is Flipper?
Flipper is a suite of business apps from Yegobox: Flipper POS (point of sale and inventory), Flipper Books (accounting) and Flipper HR (staff and leave), with Rows for analytics. They share one account and one subscription, and run on iOS, Android, Windows, macOS, Linux and the web.
Does Flipper POS work without internet?
Yes. Flipper is offline-first: sales, stock changes and receipts are saved on the device immediately and synced to the cloud and your other devices when a connection is available.
How much does Flipper cost?
Plans start at RWF 5,000 per month (≈ US$3.4) for Flipper POS on a single mobile device. Mobile + Desktop is RWF 120,000 per month, Basic (POS, Books and HR for one branch) is RWF 350,000 per month, and Enterprise is RWF 1,500,000 per month. Yearly billing is 20% cheaper.
Can I use Flipper outside Rwanda?
Yes. Flipper is used by businesses in Rwanda, Zambia, Mozambique and can be used anywhere. Prices are in Rwandan francs; card payments are accepted from any country, and mobile money is available in Rwanda.

How do I start using Flipper?
Create an account at useflipper.com/signup, install the app on your devices, add your products and start selling. Onboarding for every Flipper app happens through the same sign-up.
Is Flipper open source?
The Flipper client applications are source-available on GitHub (github.com/yegobox/flipper). Backend services and encryption keys stay private.
Does Flipper do accounting?
Yes. Flipper Books posts a journal entry for every POS sale at the moment it happens, handles expenses, recurring entries and manual journals, and produces profit & loss and balance sheet reports.
EBM, RRA and Mobile Money.
Is Flipper an EBM solution in Rwanda?
Yes. Flipper POS integrates with the Rwanda Revenue Authority's Electronic Billing Machine (EBM) system through the VSDC interface, so receipts issued from Flipper are registered with RRA. Your business needs a TIN and EBM registration with RRA; Flipper handles the rest.
Can I issue RRA receipts from my phone?
Yes. Flipper issues EBM receipts from Android and iOS phones as well as from Windows, macOS and Linux computers. Receipts issued offline are queued and registered once the device is back online.
Does Flipper support MTN Mobile Money in Rwanda?
Yes. Flipper accepts MTN MoMo payments at checkout and for subscription billing.
What does EBM software cost in Rwanda?
Flipper's Mobile plan is RWF 5,000 per month and includes EBM-registered receipts. Optional tax-reporting consulting is available as an add-on.
