Yegobox Ltd is a software company based in Nyarugenge, Kigali, Rwanda. It makes Flipper — Flipper POS, Flipper Books and Flipper HR — and Rows analytics. Flipper runs on iOS, Android, Windows, macOS, Linux, Web, works offline, and is used by businesses in Rwanda, Zambia, Mozambique.
Why we build Flipper
Most point-of-sale software assumes a stable internet connection, a credit card on file and a bookkeeper on staff. Most small businesses have none of those. Flipper starts from the opposite assumption: the connection will drop, the till is a phone, and the owner is the accountant. Every sale is saved on the device first, every receipt is tax-compliant, and every transaction posts to the books by itself.
What we believe
- Offline is the default. Sync is a feature; a working till is a requirement.
- Compliance should be free. Tax-registered receipts are part of the cheapest plan, not an upsell.
- One account, every app. POS, accounting and HR share an identity so nothing needs re-typing.
- Show the code. The Flipper client apps are source-available on GitHub.
