Flipper POS is a point of sale that talks directly to the Rwanda Revenue Authority's Electronic Billing Machine system, so every receipt you issue is registered — on Android, iPhone, Windows, macOS or Linux, and even when you sell offline.
Flipper is EBM software for Rwanda: it integrates with the RRA VSDC so receipts, refunds, purchases and stock reports are registered with the Rwanda Revenue Authority. It runs on phones and computers, keeps working offline, accepts MTN Mobile Money, and starts at RWF 5,000 (≈ US$3.4) per month.

Register with RRA
Your business needs a TIN and EBM registration with the Rwanda Revenue Authority. If you are not yet registered, we can walk you through it on WhatsApp.

Create a Flipper account
Sign up at useflipper.com, enter your TIN and branch details, and Flipper links your business to the RRA VSDC.

Add products with tax codes
Each product carries its VAT category (A, B, C or D). Flipper applies the right tax on every line automatically.

Sell and issue receipts
Every sale produces an EBM receipt with the RRA signature and QR code. Refunds, proformas and copies follow RRA rules too.

Purchases, stock movements and stock-in/out reports are sent to RRA in the background, with the receipt sequence handled for you.

Is Flipper an EBM solution in Rwanda?
Yes. Flipper POS integrates with the Rwanda Revenue Authority's Electronic Billing Machine (EBM) system through the VSDC interface, so receipts issued from Flipper are registered with RRA. Your business needs a TIN and EBM registration with RRA; Flipper handles the rest.
Can I issue RRA receipts from my phone?
Yes. Flipper issues EBM receipts from Android and iOS phones as well as from Windows, macOS and Linux computers. Receipts issued offline are queued and registered once the device is back online.
Does Flipper support MTN Mobile Money in Rwanda?
Yes. Flipper accepts MTN MoMo payments at checkout and for subscription billing.
What does EBM software cost in Rwanda?
